William Salchow began making rosin in his shop nearly 50 years ago. Not much has changed in the making of his rosin since then; the recipe remains the same but the reputation has grown. And still is, a homemade product.

First Impressions
We stopped here to see about getting an upgraded violin for my son going into HS orchestra. First impressions are valuable and we were impressed! The shop itself is like a European violin shop - it has that small, warm, well kept old world vibe. It belongs on a small, off the main path cobbled street with a coffee shop next door. It even has its own workshop for working on instruments.
