- The sheep gut core of the Passione strings is manufactured, wound and polished in the traditional way, by hand. The G-string is wound with chrome steel, the C-string with tungsten.

First Impressions
We stopped here to see about getting an upgraded violin for my son going into HS orchestra. First impressions are valuable and we were impressed! The shop itself is like a European violin shop - it has that small, warm, well kept old world vibe. It belongs on a small, off the main path cobbled street with a coffee shop next door. It even has its own workshop for working on instruments.
