Natalie Creager
Description
Mrs. Creager is prolific teacher in the Brandon/Valrico area and has been teaching students to play the cello for almost 20 years. She currently has a studio with students of very diverse abilities and goals. Her students range from beginner to advanced college prep, to learning as a hobby or returning to the instrument later in life. She enjoys sharing stories and making practicing the cello fun! Her students perform in the Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestras (TMYO), they have placed in All-County and All-State orchestras and have also received the highest ratings at State and County Solo and Ensemble competitions. Natalie holds a Master of Music in Cello Performance from the University of South Florida and is a registered Suzuki Teacher. During her time at USF Mrs. Creager was a teaching assistant to Scott Kluksdahl and then Helga Winold. Natalie also taught at Harrison School for the Arts in Lakeland, at the Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High School in St. Petersburg and Robinson High School in Tampa. She is currently a regular clinician at Strawberry Crest and Durant High Schools.
